Rihanna Style Bun

So last night little miss Sassy took a shower. When she got out we decided to put curlformers in her hair. The next day when she woke up, I saw a hairstyle that Rihanna was wearing so I tried it since it was involving curls.

1. This is what she looked like with the curlformers in her hair when she woke up.

2. Then we took out the curlformers and these were the curls. Gorgeous aren't they! ( I f you do not have curlformers, you can do this hairstyle by simply curling your hair with any kind of curling iron.)

3. Then I VERY LOOSELY took her hair and tied it up into a ponytail with a rubberband.

4. Take random chunks of hair and just pin it up any way you want and bobby pin it in place. (I don't know if you can see it because of the flash, but what I'm holding is hair and there is a bobby pin securing it.)

5. It should now look something like this.

6. Finish it off by putting a big headband. This was our finished look.

This is what it looks like! Do you like it? My hair model absolutely loved it. But you do have to keep in mind that because it is just secured with bobby pins it might not be a perfect hairstyle for a day where she will be running around a lot.

Enjoy!

Twists to Wrap-Arounds

This hairstyle is one i did on my hair model who is in her tween years. It is nice on little girls, tweens, teens and even moms! It hold well all day and she got a TON of comments.

1. Part hair in half and put a clip in one half to keep it out of the way.

2. Make a  uniform twist with all the hair so that it is looking like so.

3. Secure all that twist in a ponytal with a rubberband.

4. Make that ponytail into a wrap-around ponytail like so:

5. Repeat this process on the other side.

The end result:
P.S: She has a few fly aways because we had to take a shot after she came back from  school since the lighting wasn't cooperating this morning.

My First Picture Tutorial!

This hairstyles is one that I tried on my hair model today. She is currently in grade 7 so we went for something more tweenish.

(Sorry for the picture qualitly, it was still morning so it was a bit dark.)

1. She had washed her hair the night before so that night I made two french braids to give her some waves the next morning.
2. I untied the braids and kept the part in the middle like so.

3. Then I put a clip in one section to have it out of the way. Like so.

4. I parted down to the ear on the side I was working with, then I seperated it in three to make a dutch braid.
5. Make a dutch braid with that section and temporary secure it....................................................................

6. Repeat that; Make another dutch braid on the other side then secure the two braids together.
7. I ended the braids by makinbg a wrap around ponytail and this is the end result.
Hope you like!
P.S.: I made her hair wavy for this so her ponytail would have more puffiness and so it would look tweener but you could do it straight too.

Don't Know What to Title This?

Like the awesome title I came up with? I really did not know what to call this 'do but if anyone has an idea on what to title it just comment below and I will rename my post.

For a hairstyle that is quite simple, yet cute we knew this was the perfect match. This hairdo is perfect for sports like soccer where you have a game and then you have to go some place else because to make this hairdo a little more elegant you could just curl the pigtails and add bows.

1. Make a rectangular shape section on top of head.
2. French braid your section BUT when you get to the part where you just end it as a braid, split the hair in 2 and just normally braid both sections. have your daughter hold the braids temporarily.
3. Bring all the hair back into 2 pigtails (adding in 1 braid on each side) and secure your pigtails with rubberbands.

Enjoy!
And comment please!

Fun Twists

Hey there! This hairdo is one I came up with a while ago but never got around to posting it until this very moment. I hope you are all having an awesome summer vacation as we are too.
On to the hairstyle!
1. Part the hair on the left and down to the ear on the right side.
2. Make that section into a french twist and have your daughter hold. ( If you do not know how to make a french twist HERE is the best video I found)
3. Now bring all the hair back into a side ponytail adding in the twist and secure it.
4. Make the ponytail into a normal twist and secure it with an elastic. (HERE is a video)

You could add a flower.

Enjoy!

Easy Summer 'Do

I saw a picture the other day, of a little girl with this hairstyle and I thought '' OMG this is great for summer. It's easy, simple, fast and super cute!''  I personally think this one is perfect for the beach. So here it is.

1. Part hair on natual side. (Which for us is the left)
2. Make a tiny square shape section  right next to the face.
3. Braid that section and secure with a little elastic.
4. Divide the remaining hair in half.
5. make each half into a ponytail adding in the braid to the side where it lays.

If you are having trouble keeping the flyaways in I suggest you use a pomade such as the ''GOT2BE'' brand.

Enjoy!
And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE comment :)

Pimped Up Pigtails

Hey there! So this hairstyles is a twist on your boring old pigtails. My little ''hair model'' was getting kind of bored of these lame pigtails so I decided to switch things up a little!

1. Part hair on left.
2. (On the left) Make a section from your normal part down to infront of the ear and secure with a little elastic.
3. Make another section right behind your first thats going down to about behind the ear and secure it too.
4. Repeat process for the right side.
5. Then take all the hair and seperate it in half making two pigtails. Secure the pigtails adding in the sections too.

* If you wanted you could also french braid the tiny sections or outtie french braid them... Whatever you like!

P.S.: Add bows!! :)

Enjoy your hairdoing moment!

Rosette Ponytail

This hairstyle is a cute yet simple hairdo for the days you are in a rush or just don't know what to do with your daughters hair.

1. Part hair on natural side.
2. Pull all the hair back into a ponytail and rubberband it.
3. Divide your ponytail in half. having about 1/3 on top and 2/3 on the bottom.
4. Divide your top section in half and twist one of the two sections up into a twisty bun type of thing.
5. Secure it with a smaller rubberband.
6. Repeat steps 4 to 5 for the other section.
7. Hairspray

P.S: If your hair has tons of flyaways on the twist you could add pomade to help. You could also spray water on the hair before doing the style.

See you next time!
